Shine On

Today I am sharing a look that I wore on Christmas Eve. I had a lot of fun wearing this sparkly, festive look. This outfit would also be great for a New Year’s Eve Party. It was easy to put together and there are a lot of different ways you can make this outfit your own.

I purchased these sparkly leggings from Express after last Christmas. I spotted them in January and thought they would be perfect to wear next Christmas, and they were! At first, I was thinking about wearing these leggings with a white dress. I ended up not doing that because I could not find the right white dress, so I wore black instead.

You can never go wrong with a black dress and I really enjoyed how the black dress paired against these leggings. I think the black dress made the leggings pop even more. To keep this look all about the leggings, I wore a pair of black booties.

I added more sparkle to this look with my jewelry and other accessories. I liked how my Betsey Johnson lighting bolt cross-body pop against my leggings. Not only are these a fun pair of leggings to wear but they are also comfortable. Even though Express does not have these exact leggings available, they do have a pair covered in sequins that would be great for New Year’s Eve.

I wanted to add a pop of color on my lips so I tried out this new lipstick from Clinique. I received this lipstick in my winter Box of Style. If you sign up for the Box of Style by clicking here, you can also used my coupon code: BOSAW16. The lip stick is in the shade Berry Pop. You only need to put a little bit of this lipstick on to get a great pop of color. You can put a little bit of this lip stick on for a daytime look and then add more to it for a more intense nighttime look.

No matter what you wear or where you go this New Year’s Eve, be safe, have fun, and Happy New Year!
